Member Since: August 2006 Posts: 0 Send Message	Looking for any relatives or info on a William Smith born in London, was put in a Barnardos home for not attending school. Came up to the North East with 2 friends and never went home. We know nothing about his family. He was my grandmother's father. He stayed in Easington and married Margaret. He had 7 children and spent the rest of his life in Horden. Funnily enough my gran Annie Smith married James Bruce Smith from Horden so we are in fact 2 Smith's families.......so you can imagine the job I'm gonna have tracing them hahahaha!
