I am trying to find anyone connected with the Morris family who lived in Bermondsey....Thomas Morris married to Mary ? (who was born in 1766/64), their children were Harry/Henry, Charles and Richard, and possibly Thomas George and Mary ... My direct ancestor is Henry/Harry MORRIS born 1797 St Saviour, Surrey and married to Elizabeth (?) born St Anns, Middlesex in 1797. Their son, also Henry, married Mary Rebecca GRIFFITHS in 1842 in Lambeth, and their children were Henry (married to Susannah QUESTED), Rebecca Elizabeth, Arthur, Lewis Albert, Emma, Walter Edwin, Frederick J, and Mary Ann. My connection is through Henry and Susannah who came to Australia in 1884. Any information on this branch of the family would be very very welcome. |
