SCOTT Can anyone help? I'm trying to trace my Dad's cousins originally from Edinburgh. Their maiden names were Margaret and Christine Scott. In the 70's Margaret lived in Edinburgh and had one son called Gordon who would be about 45 now. I think Christine had 2 sons and lived in Glasgow. Their parents were James and Chrissie Scott - Uncle Jimmy was born and lived his whole life at 23 Maryfield, Edinburgh and died in the 1980's. James (Jimmy), Robert and Williamina Scott were born to James Scott and Margaret Rutherford between 1900 and 1907 in Edinburgh. Williamina married Alex Sorlie - they were my grandparents. I'm also interested in tracing any relatives of Robert (born c1903) who at one time ran a grocers shop in Rose Street Any help gratefully received! Sandra |
