Hi im trying to trace our family ancestors my grandmother was called Sarah Roberts i know she was born on New Years Day im not to sure of the year but 1910 or round about that timei believe her mother died either in child birth or when she was 2 she lived in Jarrow Newcastle upon Tyne and talk of her father and the docks and not sure whether he was a carpenter i know she had lots of cousins and know she lost some of them in the war Sarah married Robert Steurs and had two children Sarah moved to London and was in service and also worked in a london hospital she settled in Hendon NW4 and remained there until she was moved to Colchester to be near me and she died here in Colchester in the early part of the 80s on what would of been her husbands birthday 3rd of March hope this may be of some help please contact me Eunice via my husband Thomas John Moore |
