George Henry Roberts 1871 in England and his son George Henry Roberts b.1912-3c. Born in 1871c. He married to Annie Haverty they had children named Albert William who was known as Bertie,then Patrick Joseph who were born in England. He was a serving soldier in the British Army perhaps the Medical Corps some time before 1912 .One daughter were born in Cape Town Blanche May 1899 and Annie Laurie in Northampton 1897. On return to England in1900 he separated from his wife and took with him his 2 daughters.He did a furthr tor of duty in South Africa When his wife became ill he took his daughter with him Nothing further was heard of or from him until his death certificate was received in 1933 A further son from his second wife also named George Henry Roberts is named on the death cert as he collected his fathers body for burial. This son was 26 in 1933. Two further children died in childhood Mary Anne 1900-1901 and George Henry b& d 1895. At the time of his death George Henry senior was living in Endymion Rd ,Brixton Hill (Lambeth ?) and employed as a barracks warden. His son George was living in Neighbouring Beechdale Rd . Annie and Blanche were probaly not in contact with their fathers second family. The other members of the family appear not to be aware of Annie or Blanche.
