Trying to find Carr

Hi Frederick Carr Mum and I have spent many years trying to find further details of her grandfather Frederick Carr. According to the census he was born in Clerkenwell C 1859. He married Caroline Eveson and on his Marriage Certificate his father is Charles Carr a soldier. Mum thinks the family came from Ireland but we do not know where or when so maybe he was not born in Middlesex. His children were Frederick William, Caroline and Thomas (my grandfather). Also we cannot trace Frederick William born 1880 in Holborn, we have him on the 1891 census but the family split up and he went with his father and Thomas with his mother. On the 1901 cansus neither Frederick or his son or there but I know that Frederick senior did not die until 1923. Where were they? Unfortunately Thomas died in 1926 when my mum was small so there has been nobody to ask. Did Frederick William marray and have children? If anybody is connected at all we would love to hear from you especially as my mum is not getting any younger and would love to know more of her line and if there are any unknown relatives around still Many thanks Denise
