Hi, while looking for my Billington relative hints I noticed your note, not sure its one of mine but did look and found Charles age 55 docker, Annie 48, Dick 20 docker, Edward 26 docker, Hugh 145 and Arthur 6 in the 1911 census living 20 Morrington Street, Liverpool. Its says they had 14 children 8 alive 6 dead.

In 1901 census living 165 Mann Street Liverpool, Charles, Annie, Mary J age 19, Edward 16, Ellen 12, William 6 and Hugh 4. Also a grand child Ellen King age 6mths.

I am trying to find any relatives of CHARLES McCARTHY who married Annie BILLINGTON. Dobs unknown. They were the parents of my grandfather ARTHUR b 19.11.1904 at FRANK STREET LIVERPOOL 8. My gfather lost at sea in 2nd world war so we have very limited info, my mum Lilian was only 8 at the time and her mother had died before this. My uncle remembers going to CARYL GARDENS in Liverpool with his dad to visit relatives. He thinks Arthur may have had brothers Peter and Charles. Any Liverpool McCarthys please check out to see if you could have a connection. I know Charles had died before December 1930 as he is showing as deceased on Arthur's marriage certificate. He married Mary Jane Cropper. Any info would be great. Thanks in anticipation Lynne.
