Hi I'm trying to find any brothers and sisters of my grandfather FRANK WILSON born Doncaster 1918 (Bentley Road). I know he had 3 sisters and 1 brother. NAMES: Lily Wilson bap. 3 may 1903 - Doncaster Arthur Wilson bap.32 august 1910 - Doncaster Ida Wilson bap. 24 april 1912 - doncaster Edna Wilson bap. 15 march 1922 - Doncaster His parents were ERNEST ARTHUR WILSON born Brigg 1880 & BERTHA TINDALL born Adwick le Street 1882. On census returns Ernest is listed as a gas fitter. Ernests parents were JOHN WILLIAM WILSON born 1844,cawthorne basin,barnsley and HANNAH YATES born 1843 doncaster. John William was a carpenter / boatbuilder on the canals before moving to doncaster and building carriages for the railway at the carriage works. Any help in finding my grandfathers siblings would be appreciated. Simon |
