Hi, I am trying to find any decendants of my grandad Reginald Ralph Smith born in 1915 in the Merthyr Tydfil/Mountain Ash area of South Wales. I know that his father's name was James Arthur and he was in the army during the first world war where he was killed whilst in action. Obviously with such a common surmane it is proving quite difficult to trace our ancestry! I know that my grandad married in around 1944 to Violet Grail in Chepstow South wales and they had 5 children, Shirley, Brenda, David, Kathleen and James Arthur (my dad). I would dearly like to hear from anybody who thinks they may have some link to my grandad or his immediate family. I look forward to hearing from you! Louise Smith
