Hello Dinah,
My name is Sarah Hine and have just tonight got your search details..My ex hubby is Ronald Hine his Grandfather was Henry Daniel Hine And his wife was Julia Angelina Holmes..we also know of the Maltese connection but we thought julia was born there (my daughter is named aftter her) please feel free to email us and if possible can you allow us to view your tree.Hope this is a positive fammily as Ron would be delighted to know more about the Holmes Family

Trying to find descendants of Holmes children - Mary 1875, Thomas 1876, John 1880 all born in Malta, and Harriet 1884 Julia 1888 Roger 1891 born in Camberwell. Parents Thomas and Louisa. Thomas was in the Royal Artillery stationed in Malta, but came back to england where he was a sweep. Family shows on 1891 census minus Thomas jnr, and 1901 Thomas snr, Mary and John have also disappeared.
