Trying to find Jones

Hi All, I think we all drew the short straw with a name like Jones. Anyway my Jones sounds rather posh (he was not) he id my great grandpa John Roylance Kent Jones who was born in Great Boughton about 1857. He married Mary annetta Briscoe who was the Post Mistress at Thornton Le Moors, Cheshire and was where they met. He worked on the Manchester Ship Canal later to become a farmer. They had 9 children: Maud George Henry Molly Ruth Walter (my grandpa) Hilda Ester James (died 13.2.1901 aged 1yr 8 mths) I can find no information about him or my grandpa Walter so if anyone knows any of the above pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeese get in touch. They did live at Heath Farm Thorntan Lee moors for a number of years. Good luck all of you in the Jonessearch, we all need it. Louise |
