Trying to find Courtney

Searching for the birth of my gt.grandfather Thomas Edward Courtney in/around 1833. He had a sister Mary Ann born 1832. Thomas Edward was a carpenter and his sister a seamstress. Thomas married Rosamond Cuthbert in 1859 at Hackney Parish Church. They had nine children, Thomas Wm b. Bow 1860, Mary Ann b.1863 Homerton, Wm Ed b.1866, Rose Ann b.1869 Old Ford, Francis b.1871, Stratford E, Herbert Geo b.1876 Wanstead, Ethel Underwood E b.1879 Wanstead, Henry Stanley Cuthbert b 1882 Leytonstone and Amy G Louise b.1884 Leytonstone. Have been searching for gt. grandad's place of birth since 1885 with no success. I s there anybody out there who can help me please?

As it such a long time since you posted this message you probably have already found this, but I thought it might help.
1861 census for 19 west st West Ham Sratford
Thomas Edwd Courtney Head married 38 Carpenter born Middlesex, Shoreditch.
Rosamund Courtney wife 32 b. Midx Bow
Thos Wm Courtney son 10 b. Midx Old Ford
Mary Ann Dau 8 ...etc

Eveything fits with your posted details, sister Mary Ann age39 dressmaker born Shoreditch.

I would suggest Googling churches in Shoreditch and work through heir records, or post on the records site on Genes and ask for help.
