Searching for info on the ancestors and/or relatives of WILLIAM KING (b. c1804 in Cripplegate, London) & MARY ANN LEWIS (b. 1816 in Bethnal Green, London). They married in Christ Church, Foster Lane, London on 26/5/1834. Prior to emmigrating to Australia, they had WILLIAM JOHN (1834), MARY ANN PHOEBE (1836), JOSEPH HENRY (1837), CAROLONE LOUISA (1839), RICHARD (1843) & GEO. FREDERICK (1846). The family sailed on the 'Fortitude' to Brisbane Qld. in 1848, SARAH FORTITUDE was born 'off the coast of Africa'. They then had CHARLOTTE JULIA (1850), ELIZABETH MARGARET (1853), MATILDA (1856) and CLARA MERCY (1859). There are several branches of living Aussie relatives who would love to know the 'what, who and where' of prior to 1804! |
