Hi,

We have a Thomas Parker (known as Tim) who was born 07.03.15 in Kingsbridge, Devon - he was my Great Uncle. Sadly he was killed in France on 27.05.40 (a POW at Le Paradis). His Parents were James Parker and Anne (Reeves) Parker. Apart from this I have no other information and am desperately trying to find out if he had any siblings. It's a distinct possibility that he may have had family in Cornwall. If this sounds familiar in any way please get in touch via this site.

Kind Regards
Carole Souch

ALFRED JOHN PARKER I am trying to find living relatives of Alfred John Parker born in Newington in December 1879. He is almost certainly my grandfather. He married Beatrice Shepherd in 1902 and I believe had a number of children. It is possible that he moved to Cornwall, but was originaly from the Bayswater area of London where he met my grandmother around 1922. Most importantly I would like to know what became of him as his daughter is now 83 and keen to find out. He had an older brother Robert and may also have had a connection with Lewes on the south coast. He claimed to be a building inspector at the time although I've heard that he was a surveyor. He also went by the name of Jack. He abandoned my grandmother shortly after my mother's birth so it is a side of our family about which we know very little of certainty as my grandmother would not speak of him at all.
