Hoping to trace relatives of JOHN CONNOLLY b abt 1889 possibly Seaforth Liverpool who married my Aunt - GLADYS EMMA MOORE b 9th March 1897 in West Derby Liverpool. They married at St Elizabeth's Roman Catholic Church Pennington Rd Litherland in the Liverpool area on 29th Sept 1926. John's father stated on the marriage certificate was HUGH CONNOLLY a deceased builder and Gladys's father was my G Grandfather William Moore a deceased Engineer. John at the time of marriage was a Sergeant in The Kings Regiment and was based at Seaforth Barracks. A possible mother for John is Catherine & a possible brother was Thomas. The mother of Gladys was Hannah Eliza Moore nee stoneham my G Grandmother and Gladys had many brothers and sisters. I know in 1929 John & Gladys were based at Whittington Barracks Staffordshire as this is where their first son Arthur John Connolly was born on 2nd Oct 1929. On 6th July 1931 Gordon Micheal Connolly was born at Palmerston Ave Litherland and now his father John was a labourer and out of the army. On 2nd Oct 1933 Kathleen Joan Connolly was born at Firdale Rd, Fazakerley and her father John was now working at the local Biscuit Factory.
