I am trying to trace my Grandad's family. His father was Alfred Chapman and was born 1899/1900 and lived in Newport. He married Dorothy May Carter and they lived in Glastonbury Somerset for most of their lives. Alfred's brothers were Harry (who emmigrated to Canada) and his sisters were Minny and Mag who married a Frank. They may have been more. Alfred and Dorothy's children were my Grandad (Frank/Francis Chapman, 1926), Don 1927, Jack, 1921, Reginald, 1922 (emigrated to Santon South Africa), Sadie 1926, Winifred, 1931 and Shelia, 1932.
