JONES OR HUGHES JONES my great grandmother eliza (nee) davies married a john davies and in 1881 in county durham have my grandmother aged 1 jane davies. they have later two other children mary and richard. by 1901 eliza is remarried to a john hughes and has enoch .james john-thomas and maybe edwin with him. however their marriage in the last quarter of 1888 shows him as JOHN HUGHES JONES. he was born in esclusham wrexham and in 1901 is 37 making him c 1865. does anyone have him or his boys on their family tree, will have lived in county durham and probably newbiggin northumberland. miners. i can trace eliza back but have nothing for john or their children. any link welcome vivien |
