I am searching for my mother's details She was born in Potters Bar in 1910 -father Mark Ragsdale , mother Emma (nee Butland) Mark born in Nottinghamshire 1869, Emma in Surrey 1870 Also my uncle, Henry Butland Ragsdale born 1903 in either Newark Nottinghamshire, or Potters Bar Middlesex Margaret

Are you still looking for details of your Mother's family.

I can trace your mother's Butland tree back to Robert Butland bap 6 April 1746, Ashprington, Devon, base born son of Elizabeth Butland.

I am also a Butland descendant. All Butlands around the world are descended from Robert Butland c 1200's, of Holne, Devon,
