Am searching for an unwed mother Mary Smith born 1921 who gave birth to a Mary Smith on 29/11/1937 at Queen Charlottes Maternity Hospital in London when only 16years old. Mary was an Anglican apparently who resided at the catholic mother and baby units at The Woodlands Lewisham and 51Malborough Place NW8 from 1937-1939. She then admitted her daughter to an orphanage at Nazareth House Isleworth in October 1939 where her daughter Mary lived till she was 12. Mary Smith now would be 85 or 86 yeard old or deceased. She probably came from somewhere in the UK and came to London to have her baby. Please help? |
