Trying to find Christophers

I am still trying to find out more about the Christopher (s) family, I have always had the S at the end, but have noticed in once entry it has been left of. My grandfather, Wilfred Noel Christophers, born in 1905 at Helston. Married my grandmother Bessie Carter, from Helston, Jan-Mar 1924 - I think his father may have been John Christophers, but I am not totally sure. The only real lead I have is that he was a shoemaker/cobbler, and it might have been a family business. Any help with christophers or Carters will be gratefully appreciated., as I have drawn a blank.

Hi
My great grandfather James Eade Allen married
Elizabeth Christophers in 1862 at Sithney parish church, near Helston. Her father was John Christophers and mother Christian Oars. Looks like there could be a link.
