Member Since: February 2006 Posts: 6 Send Message	My name is Walter Christopher Moresby Jarvis. Walter was my father's christian name & Christopher my grandfather's. I think I was called Moresby, (a sir name?), after a family relative. But I cannot find any Moresby in my family tree. Can anyone help me find why I am called Moresby? Chris

Member Since: September 2012 Posts: 1 Send Message	I see that you posted this sometime ago, and you may have found this information by now. http://www.historyofparliamentonline.org/volume/1386-1421/member/moresby-christopher-1380-1443 You may well be a descendant of Christopher Moresby. My dad also had both Christopher and Moresby in his name.
