I am looking for my grandfathers family his name was William Chapman born London 1903 his fathers name was Henry Chapman.William married Maud Amelia Chapman in 1930 in London, they lived in Stanley Road Stratford London for a while,does any one know of a web site I could go on to look at the census before the 1901 census, grandad didnt speak about his family so not got much to go only that he had a brother called John but thats not for sure, applied for grandads birth cert but it could not be found with the info I got marriage cert gave me fathers name, any info, tips or web sites much appreciated as I,m stuck!
