I am desperately trying to find someone with any information on an Alice Carter or a Samuel Heaven. They were married and had 13 children in total which I have been told by a memeber of my family. The 13 child who was my great grandmother (Kate Harding) was left and brought up by Samuel and Alice's neighbours in Chelsea at the time. She never knew her biological brothers and sisters, but I am told that sometime inbetween the two world wars two men knocked on the door where she was living but were turned away by her carers. She tried and failed to find her family, now I would like to find them or gather information for my nan and her brothers and sisters who are very interested in finding out exactly what happend to their mother and grandparents.
