I am trying to find information on my grandmother MARGARET COOPER who married (or not) GEORGE BENNETT and had 2 sons CRAIG (1933) and IVOR (1930), both births were registered in Guisborough. There is no marriage record for MARGARET and GEORGE. GEORGE BENNETT was 48, she was 18 when IVOR BENNETT was born in 1930 BENNETT died in 1933 and she married GEORGE COLVIN in early 1935, and became COLVIN. The couple moved to Gloucester where GEORGE died in the 1970's (1977?) They had a daughter Pamela who died of cancer in the mid 1970's. We know MARGARET had 2 brothers, JAMES (JIMMY) and GORDON WALTON from her mothers second marriage. There was also DENISE and another sister, she died during the bombing of WW2 in REDCAR. |
