have you these people on your tree born esclusham area - wrexham richard jones c 1806 marries barbara abraham children: betsey c 1833, will c 1834, barbara c 1838, enoch c 1840, elias c 1845 , jane c 1846, richard 1849 eliza 1851 c elias dies in a mining accident in 1895 barbara narries james davies and have two girls eliza and harriet - eliza is my great grandmother. after marrying a john davies eliza marries a john hughes who is also listed as john hughes jones. these families move across england to durham area and onto northumberland. i have traced harriet's descendants. eliza has four children by john davies dorothy jane richard and mary - my grandmother jane marries john callan. eliza has at least four more boys by john hughes jones whose surnames are hughes -john thomas ,edwin/edward, enoch and james - they all live in north east but john hughes jones was born in esclusham. i have found one living relative via eliza jones - would like to know what happened to the other families - particularly eliza davies children by both marriages - thanks vivien |
