I am trying to find information about my mother Nora Nicholson's half brothers and sisters. Her mother, Jessie Davis b 1877 married George Leman Young in 1893 and had three children Frank b 1893, Wilfrid Albert b 1895 and Katharine Elizabeth b 1897, all in Worcester. I don't know whether George died, but Jessie moved to Leicester leaving Frank and Wilfrid with her husband's widowed father, Henry Leman who lived in Grafton Villas, Happy Land North, St Johns, Worcester. Katharine was left with Jessie's widowed mother, Ann Davis who lived in Southfield Street. Jessie then met my grandfather James Alexander Nicholson and moved to Preston, where she had 4 more children, one of whom was my mother. Any information about their whereabouts would be most welcome. Marilyn Quine. |
