Hi, Its me again still looking for info on my grandads family. Grandad was William Chapman born 1903 married Maud Spencer 1930 both from Stratford London.Grandads father was Henry John Chapman he must have dropped the name Henry as on 1901 census only the name John given he was married to Sarah Berwick these names come from grandads birth cert not census so the info I got from census adds up as father down as a Hawker, they had 2 children before the 1901 census John and Ellie and lived in Nancy Street Shoreditch London if anyone has a connection or more info it would be appreciated, I was told the Chapman surname was a common one all the years I been doing my tree I have not had one link yet!! anyway any thing would be nice to hear if any thing rings any bells..lol |
