Jones Carmarthenshire Looking for relations of Hugh Jones 1842 from Llansadwrn or Llansawel depending which census you believe, married a Harriet 1842 (maiden name unknown) from Llanfynydd. They had the following children:- Sarah 1863 born Llanguicke Margeret 1866 born Llanguicke Thomas 1868 born Llanguicke John 1870 born Llanguicke Annie 1873 born Llanguicke James 1876 born Llanguiag Harriet 1879 born Llandilo Sarah 1863 born Llandilo Mary 1882 born Llanedy Jeuan 1863 born Llanedy The reason I am looking is a James Jones ran away and changed his name to Harris and this family seems to fit. It is alleged that two of the Jones brothers moved to America to seek their fortune and one came back to own Howells in Cardiff now part of House of Frazer. Any info greatly appreciated |
