WILLIAMS - BRISTOL (Hanham/Kingswood + St. George) I am researching the Williams family who is the 1800s lived around Hanham Road, Kingswood & were coalminers. (We believe there are links to Wales & they were also close friends with the Lewis family, who lived nearby & also had Welsh connections).Later the family entered the building trade & ran a business from Worsley Street, St. George. In 1851 George Williams (b. 1826) & his wife Charlotte (b. 1829) were living at 137 Hanham Road, with children John, Samuel (b. 1851, my ancestor), William & Martha. If you have any earlier information or believe you may be related to this family, please get in touch. |
