Hi Linda. I am not connected but had a look for you and think I may have found who you are looking for.

Birth of Frances Emily Edbrook. 1889 July/Sept. Qtr. registered in Stepney. vol 1c 372.

You did not give an area. Does this sound right.?????

If so then the following could connect.

1901 census.Living East Ham(EDBROOK)
Charles T Edbrook. 43. 1858 Born ???Ragnham??? Essex. Silver Refiner.
Margaret. 42. 1859. Born London. Commercial Rd
Margaret M. 13. 1888 Born London. Mile End
FRANCIS. 11 1890 DAUghter.
Born London. Commercial Road.

The spelling was wrong, ie Frances for a girl.

Birth of Margaret Mary Born 1887 Oct/Dec Qtr. reg in Mile End. vol 1c 501.

I have looked on the 1891 census but cannot find them up to now.

If this sounds as if it could be correct in the area etc., then a copy of the birth certificate will give the parents, and mothers Maiden name to help trace marriage of Charles and Margaret, which up to now I cannot find.

Any more info on your Grandmother.
I am an Edbrooke. I have a Fanny Eliza Stenning born 1873 married Alfred Edbrooke. Is there any connection, sometimes our name had the E left off end of it. Also a Fanny E born 1851 in Clatworthy.
