I know this is 5 years later but you may be interested in a reply. David Pinchin was my great grandfather and the information you give ties up with mine. My grandfather was Thomas Oliver who was an older brother of your mother, Maude. He eventually moved to Newent in Gloucestershire and married Lucy Sophia Panting who's origins were in Worcestershire (Castlemorton). He had a son called Oliver Joseph who was my father, The house they lived in, Fairfield Rd, is still there and can be seen on Google Maps.
