I am trying to find any relatives of my family The RAE or RAY family come from the Govan/Dalmuire area Great grandfather was Michael Ray(Rae) wife Catherine Ray (McKail) lived in Goven area and at one time in the East Indies Children were: Elizabeth,James,Margaret,Martin(my grandfather),Michael,Thomas (all born in the East Indies) My Grandfather Martin married Rose Ann Cairney in 1895 in St Francis Chapel Glasgow.Later they lived in Dalmuire My grandfather and several boys worked in the Clyde ship yards Children were: Andrew,Thomas,Martin, Michael,James,William, John(my father) Margaret and Francis. Several brother emigrated to USA in the 1920's My father married Alice Johnson Was killed WW2 (Rear Gunner RAF) Are there any relatives still in Scotland from either side of the family.
