Trying to find any info on FRED (possibly FREDERICK) SMITH. Born c1904 (May) in NOTTINGHAMSHIRE area. Mum named ESTHER LEWIN ......(maiden name unknown). She is buried in Mansfield Woodhouse cemetery, but the stone is too poor to read. Had brother LEWIN, and sisters MABEL & FLORRIE. Also related to SAVIDGE family who worked as butchers in the area. Worked as a bus driver, and married DOREEN WOOD. Had four children, VERNON (died as a baby) CYNTHIA (1938) MARGARET (1942) - my mum MELVYN (1947) Died when mum was about 15, so c1957. Mum has very few details about him and would love to hear from anyone who knows anything of him or his family. ANY help greatly appreciated. Angi |
