Peter Lewis (03/02/2007 20:46:10) | Update Message | Delete Message I wish to trace any descendants of the Lewis family, living at 14 Wards Buildings. ? Ward St. Bilston, Staffs, during 1871/81. Thomas Lewis (chainmaker) m. to Ellen Clark Offspring: Elizabeth, Mary, William, Jonathon, Harriet, Ellen, & Rebecca. I believe they were all christened in Ettingshall. William was my grandfather, b.11.11.1875. He served with the West Yorks Regt. India, m. Fanny Parker nee Juggins, son, my father, William b. 25.04.1907. The Welsh connection is Yspytty Cynfyn, Cardiganshire which I understand is our original place of origin. |
