Smith, John Ellington married Hunt, Mary Ann on 12 June 1881 in Wellington New Zealand. John Smith was born in Cambridgeshire England abt 1840 and Mary Ann Hunt was born 1853 in Manchester England. The couple migrated to Australia some time after their marriage. Their children include two girls who went on to marry two orphaned brothers. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to find info on the parents of either John Ellington Smith or Mary Ann Hunt. If we have the right death registration details then his father's name was JOHN and mother's name was ANN Cheers, from the Land Down Under. EC |
