Member Since: July 2003 Posts: 10 Send Message	Searching for any information regarding my great-grandmother, VIOLET FELICIA ALICE COOPER, believed to have been born c.1898/99? She was married on 4th January 1915 to RICHARD KEEN who was considerably older than her, and was a widower with several children from his first marriage. At the time of the marriage they were living at 32 Cambray Road, Clapham, London. I have obtained a marriage certificate which states that Richard was 44 years old and Violet was 21. However, I have been informed by another family member that Violet lied about her age and would have been apx 16 years old!! Violet and Richard had four children - (1916) Violet Felicia Elkins Keen (known as Felicia) - she married Harry Chalmers. (1917) Delphine Sheila Elkins Keen (my beloved nan) who was married twice - first husband (Harry Rowlinson) died young from TB - second husband was Frederick Thompson (my grandad). (1920) Richard Adolphus Keen (married Christina) (1922) Kenneth Raymond Keen (married to/divorced from Audrey) I cannot seem to trace Violet's birth or death certificates (believe she died c.1950 just after my mum was born) - she is proving to be a bit difficult!
