APRIL O7 UPDATE Henry 'Harry' Walter Morris born 1881 - these were the details he used when he went to Canada, his real name was Henry Walter Stone born in 1875,Oxford, England Henry was one of my great uncles, he emigrated to Canada some time prior to 1914. He worked on the Great Trunk Railway as an electrician, until he joined the Canadian Expeditionary Force on 25th Sept 1914 and came to Europe to fight in the First World War. He rose to the rank of Lt and was awarded the Military Cross, but the same fate befell him as a whole generation of young men, he was killed in action in 1917 in France. From his service record we have traced his descendents who are still living in Canada today, but they are the descendents of his first two wives who he met in Ireland, they were two sisters though we only know the name of one of them - Mary MacDonald. We know the name of the son he had with Elizabeth C. Kirby, but as yet have not found his descendents. Andy
