Member Since: January 0001 Posts: 0 Send Message	Edward (edwin)Lee I am trying to find any one related to the Lee family from Hull. Edward was born in 1858 and married Georgina in 1888 they had children charles,alfred,edward,louis,emma,eliza,william,john,who died very young and then Doris in 1907 and john in 1910 who was my Grandad. He was lost at sea in 1936 aged 26. I am having difficulty finding Edward on the census records before 1881 where he appears to be living with his sister inlaw Elizabeth. We dont know whether Edward was in fact born Edwin and changed his name for some reason. We are hoping to make some connection perhaps through Doris' family, she married Charles Winsor in 1928 and they had Terence and Sarah-known as Sally but not sure about any others. The Lee family had strong Romany Gypsy connections through my Grandads side but not sure how to follow that information up.
