He was an only child Herbert Samuel (known as Bert) to Rachel Thomas (his stepmum) and his dad (don't know his name) Dad was born in Rhondda Valleys in 1914 and married Edith Winifred Jones in 1941 in Pontypridd They had three children Gail who died as a baby Barbara and myself Margaret They seperated in the 60's and Dad went back to live with his stepmum in Cross Street, Rhondda. He died in 1974. If anyone has any information please contact me
