Susan Pritchard (nee Williams) I am trying to find the birthplace of my great Grandfather William Williams. He was born in Carmarthenshire, but I do not know exact location. He did state on the census's that he was born in Mydrim. But I have made an extensive search and did not find any records concerning him. His Birth year also varies on the census between 1842 -1849. He worked at Moche farm, Llanstephan in Carmarthenshire at the time of his marriage to Esther morris who also worked there that was in 1868. His father was Thomas Williams Labourer (only info on him) William and Esther came to Llanelli Carmarthenshire to live by 1871 and lived there until their death. They had 10 children. Anna 1868 Henry 1871 Mary Ann 1872 Elizabeth 1874 John 1877 Esther 1879 Elizabeth 1881 William Henry 1883 Iram 1886 David (my grandfather) 1889 If there is any one that can help me I would be very grateful. I need to find where William was born, so I can purchase his birth certificate. I have already purchased 9 and all were wrong. Thank you Susan Pritchard |
