hello I'm wanting to find out anything about my mothers side of the family the names i have are Mary Jane young(my grandmother) born 1908 in Edinburgh to Mary Morrison and James young they were married 1900 they was a least another son but unsure of correct details. Mary Jane young married my grandad William shotton Gilchrist (born 1907 in middlesbrough) in kensington gardens London in 1935, the two children they had that we know of are my mother Jeanette Mary Gilchrist born 1943 in middlesbrough and my uncle William shotton Gilchrist born 1938 in London there was other children but unsure of names and date's, my grandmother died in 1943 and my grandad died in 1980 he did have 6 older sisters. any information at all would be helpful. thank you Janet |
