I have the following Chapmans in my tree from the Bucks/Berks border - Bisham and the area round Marlow. The dates of birth are mostly approximate.
Kate b1879; Frederick, 1881; Edith 1883; Laura 1885; Horace 1892-1916; Herbert 1895; Archibald 1899.

Their parents were James Chapman 1862 a shepherd in Bisham and Clara (nee Stroud). James had siblings Eliza 1865; George 1872. On the 1901 census George was a domestic gardener in Twickenham, Middlesex.

Their parents were Thomas Chapman born c1822 in Chilton Foliat, Wiltshire and Mary Jane (nee Ball), also originally from Wiltshire. I have been unable to confirm Thomas's birth - there were two Thomas Chapman's born in this village just a few years apart. This couple must have moved to Bucks and Berks in search of work. They were in Upton cum Chalvey when their son James was born.

Any connection?
