Member Since: December 2006 Posts: 17 Send Message	Trying to find a connection to my great great grandfather Michael Williams. So far all I have is a Queensland marriage certificate for when he married my gg grandmother Sarah (born in Brisbane) His parents are listed as John Williams and Catherine Ludgate. John was a farmer. Michael lists his birthplace as Fermoy, Cork, Ireland. MIchael and Elizabeth have 13 children in Queensland with first 5 being named Sarah, Charlotte, Alice, Elizabeth and John. I am wondering if maybe Michael's mother Catherine Ludgate was really Elizabeth Catherine Ludgate. Anybody got any leads for the ancestors in Ireland? Michael also had a brother David who also came to Australia and settled in Brisbane area and a sister Fannie/Frances - who settled INgham, Qld area. There may also be another brother Henry and another brother Thomas.
