Hi all jones searchers, i'm trying to trace my grandfather george william jones from holywell. He moved to manchester to work possibly as a mine inspector. He married edna edge and had at least 2 children george william b ( 1904 +-), beatrice unsure of her date of birth. There possibly could have been another child called sam. George married catherine bromley and worked in bradford manchester in the mines. they had 7 children edna, beatrice, ada, george,evelyn, alec, dorathy. beatrice was a nurse who was last known working as a matron in portsmouth hospital. it was thought that she never married or had children. my grandfather moved back to holywell but my grandmother refused to return with him. There the family lost track of him, I would really like to know what happened to him. If anyone has any information please contact me it woud be appreciated |
