Hi Folks,I too am looking for a Robinson.My people are from Manchester Lancashire.William John Robinson was born 1840 in Ancoates Manchester.His parents were David Robinson & Sarah Hamilton.William had other brothers & sisters.William left home & probably married in Somerstown.Capetown,South Africa.Her name was Elizabeth Mary Taylor?Arrived in New Zealand 1872.Their only child Edward William Robinson was born at Silverdale north of Auckland.Elizabeth must have been married before as on her death certificate it states she had 2 daughters.Hope someone can help me with this family!
