I am trying to find out any information on my great grandfather Robert Williams born 1857 in Neath, Wales. His father was called William Williams. Robert married Sarah Williams (also her maiden name) who lived in St Germans, Cornwall. I think she may have been the village midwife. It seems as if they then moved to Devonport area in Plymouth where they then carried on living. At some point, it seems as if Sarah's family moved in with them. Robert and Sarah had two children William Henry Williams (b1894) and Olive Williams (b 1893). If anyone is related to Robert Williams and knows why he ended up in the West Country, please get in touch. |
