Hi I am trying to trace family members for my grandad alfred harris hughes born 07/06/1906 at summercourt in cornwall.I have already sent off for his birth certificate.As far as my mother knows he was one of about 27 children some of the names she remembers are herbert,nicholas,leonard,ethel(lived in kent) florrie(who married arthur nelson and lived in truro) arthur,margaret and melville(who was in the marines)rest unknown. I have traced fathers name today it is charles hughes and he died in 1939 at truro aged 65. my grandad alfie as he was known married lena meta harris in St Stephens in brannel in chapel in the year 1942(I think).
