Find Ancestors

I do not know if this is of any help yet. My father born 1925 was Frederick Carter born in Tunbridge Wells . Sadly he passed away in 1996. His father was also Frederick . He was born in 1904 the registration gives Tonbridge as the district so could have been Tonbridge Wells. I can remember my father mentioning an Aunt Gent and I think the name Murrells was mentioned but whether in connection with Aunt Gent I am not absolutely sure. I am trying to trace this line of my family but not having much luck at the moment. I cannot get his birth certificate with my bank card so have to get my daughter to do it for me. I will ask my mother if she can remeber but as she and my father were divorced in the 50's I am not too sure if she will be able to. I am also trying to contact my father's youngest brother. I will let you know how I get on . have you any further information?

Hi all, I was wondering if any body had any information on a lady named Gentilia Carter in the Tonbridge or Tunbridge Wells area of Kent. I believe she was born in either the late 1890's or the early 1900's, she married a man named Wiliiam Murrells (Born 1893 in Tunbridge Wells, Kent) he was also known as Bill and on the 1901 census he was listed as Willie....im not sure if any of that helps at all with linking any possible Gentilia's with my own but im sure it was worth a shot. I am not sure when they married although that is my next step so any information on that would be helpful if anyone should possess it. Also i believe she had atleast one brother named either Fred or Fredrick, as i believe there may have been more siblings but i have as yet no evidence to support this. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Louise.
