Member Since: December 2006 Posts: 1 Send Message	Gill, Braffitt is the strong Yorkshire dialict pronounciation of Braithwaite in the early 1800s. You should have a male member of your parents family have a genealogy Y-DNA test and compare the results with Braithwaites. Go to FTDNA .com
