Hello, my name is John Mackay and I now live in Alexandria West Dunbartonshire, although I belong to Kinlochbervie in North Sutherland. I have been looking through my family tree for some time now and would like to know if anybody may be decendents of the following persons. I know that my great grandfather, a Donald Mackay had three sons to his first wife, one of whom I appear to have traced. From the records of the 1861 Census I can see that the two I know nothing about are a George Mackay who was 5 years of age at that time and a Hugh Mackay who was 2 years of age at that census date. Both of these persons lived at that time in the village of Badcall Inchard, Kinlochbervie. It would be interesting to find out if there are any persons out there that may in some way be decendents of either of these two people. John Mackay. |
